FRANKENSTEIN REDESIGN
Redesigned Cover:
The goal of this project was to put into practice the aspects of typography, editorial design, and layout, navigating different formats and mediums, and audiovisual presentations learned over the course of the semester into use through redesigning a book.
As a part of an ongoing semester-long project at IE University in Madrid, Spain, during my semester abroad, I redesigned Mary Shelley’s novel Frankenstein while paying close attention to the typography, layout, and design of the piece. This project was done in Adobe InDesign.

By paying attention to widows, orphans, leading, kerning, tracking, margins, hierarchies, and more to create a smooth, sleek, and aesthetically pleasing design for the novel.
